The Secret is out…more people are finding out that Fargo is a perfect 10! In a recent MSN news report, Fargo was ranked as one of the 10 most affordable places to live and work. Fargo was also ranked as having the lowest unemployment rate in the country at 2.6%. Sounds like more and more people are going to discover what we already know… the F/M area is a great place to live!

Summer at the Lakes? Believe it or not, summer is just around the corner. It may not feel like it when you look outside, but we are less than 70 days away from fun in the sun! Will My House Sell in 2007? Ok, even if you have not asked the question… I know you have been dying to know. What is the market doing this year? What happened last year? Will it be slowing down again? Well, to answer all those questions….the market has seen a huge upswing this year so far. Park Company just had its second best Jan. and Feb. ever- (Second only to the record-breaking year of 2005). With all the negative publicity in 2006 and all the “sky is falling” reports, it was not any surprise that things slowed down. Fargo/Moorhead area had its second best year to date in 2006, even though things had slowed a bit from the record-breaking year of 2005. However, to be quite honest, all the news reports about larger cities and other markets do not even remotely compare to the F/M area. As noted above, Fargo/Moorhead is a wonderful place to live. Homes are selling at an amazing rate right now. Buyers are ready to go. In addition, if you take a peek around town you will see many Park Co. signs with SOLD on them. I think that speaks louder than any news report from Los Angeles or New York!
Looking for an update? Freshen up your home with new paint… the cool colors for Spring are: aqua, yellow, green, pink, purple, and natural browns. Remember, many homes sell quickly because of the decorating. Do not be afraid to try something new. Have Fun!
